Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) UWA Aberystwyth's Ector Duckett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siawn Closky in the 3rd minute of play forced UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Corryn Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Weyland Featherston fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Aberystwyth's protests and gave Weyland Featherston a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Weyland Featherston got a free kick in the 5th minute. Maddox Gale took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Corryn Harris. UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ector Duckett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxen Ludden having to make a save. A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Granwen Elias hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, UWA Aberystwyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhyawdd Bellam to maneuver through the defense. Andras Hockensmith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Corryn Harris made a huge save. Ector Duckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxen Ludden having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mabsant Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Aberystwyth's supporters rose to their feet, but Mabsant Dunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxen Ludden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Perceval Hamilton. Mabsant Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. UWA Aberystwyth's Corryn Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siawn Closky in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Maxen Ludden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Lionel Horton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Aberystwyth and the UWA Baglan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Lionel Horton got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, UWA Aberystwyth's Dafydd Groom tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siawn Closky to strike the kick off in the second half. Corryn Harris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andras Hockensmith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Mabsant Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Aberystwyth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mabsant Dunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gwawl Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Corryn Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andras Hockensmith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Aberystwyth's Mabsant Dunn got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to UWA Aberystwyth getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rhisiart Gregory hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Andras Hockensmith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxen Ludden made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mabsant Dunn sent off a good shot on target. Maxen Ludden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ector Duckett in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aglovale Goderich during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Aglovale Goderich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
