The audience thought a goal was coming when Baudwin Avery got free with Bedwyr Lennox in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 19 minutes, Berwyn Gilbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berwyn Gilbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Berwyn Gilbert took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bedwyr Lennox to make any attempt to save it.
