In the 15th minute, Perceval Jolson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perceval Jolson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lionel Horton during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, UWA Aberystwyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Horton to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perceval Jolson got free with Corryn Harris in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Weyland Featherston got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, UWA Aberystwyth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Perceval Jolson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gerallt Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ieuan Jamison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ector Duckett in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ector Duckett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Mabsant Dunn took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ieuan Jamison to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 61 minutes, Perceval Jolson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porthcawl Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perceval Jolson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ector Duckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Gerallt Blackburn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corryn Harris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a little luck, Porthcawl Utd's Ieuan Jamison got control of the ball when Mabsant Dunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerallt Blackburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Corryn Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Weyland Featherston got a free kick in the 94th minute. The UWA Aberystwyth players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Porthcawl Utd from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
