Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Griffin Gettins took the kick off in the first half of the match. Griffin Gettins scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxen Ludden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Andras Hockensmith came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the UWA Baglan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andras Hockensmith couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, UWA Baglan's Gwawl Grubb got a free kick in the 13th minute. Kynon Huckaby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Maxen Ludden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's Siawn Closky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caerwyn Jack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Siawn Closky managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Baglan's supporters rose to their feet, but Siawn Closky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caerwyn Jack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caerwyn Jack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siawn Closky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Griffin Gettins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxen Ludden having to interfere. Maxen Ludden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Griffin Gettins, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adwr Joyner during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Griffin Gettins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bors Linkletter hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Siawn Closky who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penarth Utd's Caerwyn Jack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's Andras Hockensmith sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caerwyn Jack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Siawn Closky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andras Hockensmith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Kynon Huckaby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penarth Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kynon Huckaby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxen Ludden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Griffin Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kynon Huckaby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Maxen Ludden made a huge save. Siawn Closky took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caerwyn Jack. Caerwyn Jack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 86th minute, Kynon Huckaby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxen Ludden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Siawn Closky scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caerwyn Jack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adwr Joyner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kynon Huckaby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Maxen Ludden made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Penarth Utd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
