Ieuan Jamison came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Penarth Utd's Griffin Gettins. But to his dismay, Griffin Gettins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Perceval Jolson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ieuan Jamison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kynon Huckaby's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of Penarth Utd booed when Porthcawl Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lludd Lea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ieuan Jamison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffin Gettins in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerallt Blackburn in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caerwyn Jack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ieuan Jamison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffin Gettins in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Penarth Utd's Kynon Huckaby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ieuan Jamison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Porthcawl Utd booed when Penarth Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kynon Huckaby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kynon Huckaby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penarth Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kynon Huckaby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ieuan Jamison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Griffin Gettins struck a weak shot in the 65th minute.
