The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when Wrexham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cadellin Dowdall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadeyrn Pattern was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedr Huckaby. 19 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Siencyn Booth came free, but Gwevyl Brin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Nerthach Keely rounded Wrexham FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Pwyll Folds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penn Dowdall struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Cadeyrn Pattern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Bridgend. Bleddyn Knox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadeyrn Pattern having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Rhobert Griffin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Gusg Higgin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Bridgend's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wrexham FC the free kick. Gwevyl Brin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nerthach Keely to make the kick off. When Pwyll Folds came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the UWA Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pwyll Folds couldn't finish the play. Cadeyrn Pattern stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nerthach Keely's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cadeyrn Pattern prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Penn Dowdall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UWA Bridgend walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
