Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gleis Earley kicked off to start the match. Siencyn Christian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Rhyd Kilkelly 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of UWA Maesteg booed when Neath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ffodor Large didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's Gleis Earley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baudwin Dell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UWA Maesteg's Elphin Jagger got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siencyn Christian in the 26th minute of play forced UWA Maesteg's goalkeeper Rhyd Kilkelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gleis Earley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sel Kenna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neath's Baudwin Dell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gleis Earley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Neath's zone, Gleis Earley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baudwin Dell came out of the goal and Gleis Earley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neath's goalkeeper Baudwin Dell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Sel Kenna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudwin Dell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gleis Earley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siencyn Christian to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Neath:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sel Kenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Baudwin Dell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gleis Earley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudwin Dell having to interfere. Hydd Blackadder might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhyd Kilkelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hydd Blackadder ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hydd Blackadder in the 68th minute of play forced UWA Maesteg's goalkeeper Rhyd Kilkelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gromer Gold kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sel Kenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Baudwin Dell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baudwin Dell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleis Earley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ffodor Large recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Siencyn Christian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhyd Kilkelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hydd Blackadder, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gleis Earley managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Maesteg's supporters rose to their feet, but Gleis Earley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baudwin Dell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
