Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vaughn Gilliland kicked off to start the match. UWA Baglan's Gwalchmei Burdick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save UWA Baglan from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gleis Earley in the 6th minute of play forced UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Gwalchmei Burdick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaughn Gilliland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gleis Earley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gwalchmei Burdick made a huge save. Rhyd Kilkelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaughn Gilliland in the 16th minute of play. After 16 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Elphin Jagger. In the 22nd match minute, UWA Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elphin Jagger to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, UWA Maesteg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garym Chandler to maneuver through the defense. Rhyd Kilkelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wren Fielding in the 25th minute of the match. Rhyd Kilkelly came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland. But to his dismay, Vaughn Gilliland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 33 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Garym Chandler. UWA Baglan's Gorlois Hetherington couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UWA Maesteg. Vaughn Gilliland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhyd Kilkelly having to interfere. Elphin Jagger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gwalchmei Burdick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleis Earley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gleis Earley in the 47th minute of play. After the first half UWA Baglan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gleis Earley was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Wren Fielding got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rhyd Kilkelly was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pasgen Farran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland got a free kick in the 60th minute. Rhyd Kilkelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Gilliland, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Garym Chandler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's goal looked a bit too open when Vaughn Gilliland came free, but Rhyd Kilkelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaughn Gilliland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rhyd Kilkelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. UWA Baglan's Wren Fielding got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sel Kenna managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Maesteg's supporters rose to their feet, but Sel Kenna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwalchmei Burdick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cant Love charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cant Love the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cant Love kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, UWA Maesteg's Heulyn Charlton tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sel Kenna in the 88th minute of play. UWA Baglan's Wren Fielding got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
