The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garwyli Joiner during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chepstow ! When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, UWA Llangollen's Bedyw Asa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oliver Tetley. Oliver Tetley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxen Blencow in the 8th minute. Anyon Barney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gergely Török's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Gerwin Baccus scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anyon Barney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clyde Duncan's late challenge caught a Chepstow 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clyde Duncan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UWA Llangollen's Clyde Duncan got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Gergely Török's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anyon Barney was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Kynlas Gee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Llangollen's Anyon Barney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerwin Baccus in the 23rd minute of play. Gergely Török blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anyon Barney having to make a save. Anyon Barney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kynlas Gee, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Oliver Tetley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iona Clerk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iona Clerk in the 31st minute of play forced Chepstow 's goalkeeper Oliver Tetley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Kynlas Gee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anyon Barney. UWA Llangollen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kynlas Gee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Oliver Tetley was a little too slow when Iona Clerk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-2. Dewey Cooper was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, one of Chepstow :s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

55 minutes into the game, Chepstow 's Gergely Török nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anyon Barney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Gergely Török sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Tetley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxen Blencow in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Török in the 62nd minute of play forced UWA Llangollen's goalkeeper Anyon Barney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Nissyen Findley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 65 in the game by Gergely Török from a close distance when the talented Anyon Barney managed to make a qualified save. UWA Llangollen's players were relieved. A collision led to UWA Llangollen getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Clyde Duncan hit a great ball. Oliver Tetley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxen Blencow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gergely Török fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anyon Barney having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Kynlas Gee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, UWA Llangollen's Anyon Barney got control of the ball when Gergely Török tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 82 in the game by Gergely Török from a close distance when the talented Anyon Barney managed to make a qualified save. UWA Llangollen's players were relieved. If Gwern Bateson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Tetley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxen Blencow in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Gergely Török got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Chepstow 's Gergely Török nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anyon Barney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The UWA Llangollen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chepstow were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
