Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. UWA Bridgend's attack was well implemented in the 2nd minute, but when Casnar Ingersoll was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Maelwys Greener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwalchmei Burdick having to interfere. Caradawg Gilboy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wren Fielding in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Bridgend's zone, Wren Fielding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caradawg Gilboy came out of the goal and Wren Fielding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vaughn Gilliland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwalchmei Burdick made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Casnar Ingersoll sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the game, Casnar Ingersoll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gwalchmei Burdick. Casnar Ingersoll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25th minute Selwyn Clements suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Cant Love fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Baglan's protests and gave Cant Love a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when UWA Baglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cant Love didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Maelwys Greener got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the UWA Bridgend defense, Wren Fielding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caradawg Gilboy. The UWA Bridgend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caradawg Gilboy should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Drych Gilliland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Baglan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Bridgend the free kick. After a rather tough play, UWA Baglan's Drych Gilliland got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Wren Fielding ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caradawg Gilboy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 39 minutes into the game, UWA Bridgend's Maelwys Greener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwalchmei Burdick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 44 minutes into the game, Pasgen Farran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Baglan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Bridgend the free kick. After a rather tough play, UWA Baglan's Pasgen Farran got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Maelwys Greener fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maelwys Greener was the one to do the kick off. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maelwys Greener in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goal looked a bit too open when Maelwys Greener came free, but Gwalchmei Burdick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaughn Gilliland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Caradawg Gilboy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Gwalchmei Burdick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UWA Bridgend's Cadellin Devany got a free kick in the 61st minute. Caradawg Gilboy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaughn Gilliland in the 62nd minute of play. Vaughn Gilliland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caradawg Gilboy came out and tried to block the shot, but Vaughn Gilliland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 65th minute. Gwalchmei Burdick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maelwys Greener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vaughn Gilliland came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the UWA Baglan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaughn Gilliland couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Baudwin Foley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wren Fielding could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Caradawg Gilboy made a huge save. Baudwin Foley charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baudwin Foley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of UWA Bridgend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UWA Baglan:s goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Wren Fielding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Baglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wren Fielding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caradawg Gilboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Gilliland, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. UWA Baglan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
