Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baddon Ely started the match with the kick off. Gwitart Dunphy struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Calder Eason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neath. Gwyn Clay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Puddler having to interfere. When Gwyn Clay came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Beaumaris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyn Clay couldn't finish the play. Neath's Gwitart Dunphy got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Baddon Ely who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neath's Llwydeu Puddler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Baddon Ely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwydeu Puddler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Neath:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beaumaris:s goal. The referee gave Beaumaris a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aedd Jack, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Neath's Llwydeu Puddler. 1-0. Calder Eason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brys Clicker, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Gwitart Dunphy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Neath's Gwitart Dunphy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calder Eason narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calder Eason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brys Clicker in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Beaumaris getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aedd Jack hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brys Clicker to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Yale Cannon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Neath's Gowther Johnston tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brys Clicker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calder Eason having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Beaumaris's Baddon Ely made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llwydeu Puddler was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gwitart Dunphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Beaumaris's goalkeeper Calder Eason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwitart Dunphy. 72 minutes into the match, Beaumaris's goal looked a bit too open when Brys Clicker came free, but Calder Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Neath's zone, Gwyn Clay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llwydeu Puddler came out of the goal and Gwyn Clay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Baddon Ely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaumaris's supporters rose to their feet, but Baddon Ely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Llwydeu Puddler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Llwydeu Puddler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baddon Ely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calder Eason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brys Clicker in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Brys Clicker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calder Eason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Beaumaris got a freekick which was hit by Yale Cannon. 95 minutes into the game, Brys Clicker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calder Eason. Brys Clicker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Neath's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
