Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ren Fox kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cairn Elkins in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drych Doran saved Bridgend from getting behind. Gwawl Knollys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drych Doran having to interfere. With a little luck, Bridgend's Drych Doran got control of the ball when Cairn Elkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Drych Doran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwawl Knollys, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Drych Doran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ardwyad Brent in the 16th minute. Gwawl Knollys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drych Doran having to interfere. Gwawl Knollys charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwawl Knollys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Caerleon FC's Gwawl Knollys got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tristram Copp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Fox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Caerleon FC's zone, Ren Fox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristram Copp came out of the goal and Ren Fox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute of the match Iestyn Tinsmith sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristram Copp skillfully saved the ball. Bridgend's Griffith Jones got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tristram Copp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Fox's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 45th match minute, Caerleon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cadeyrn Sorter to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Bridgend's corner Cynbal Tanner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tristram Copp quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwawl Knollys to make the kick off. Cynbal Tanner hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Cairn Elkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gwawl Knollys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caerleon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwawl Knollys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drych Doran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drych Doran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwawl Knollys, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bridgend! The referee gave Caerleon FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game.
