Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Davis Lockwood took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Caerleon FC's Gwawl Knollys in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Port Talbot's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 4 minutes, Cairn Elkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caerleon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cairn Elkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Brice Spinster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Caerleon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brice Spinster came free, but Tristram Copp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davis Lockwood in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristram Copp saved Caerleon FC from getting behind. A collision led to Caerleon FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Morthwyl Kay hit a great ball. Pwyll Foote took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwawl Knollys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Gwawl Knollys made a precise shot to the right of Pwyll Foote. Port Talbot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Davis Lockwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Talbot's supporters rose to their feet, but Davis Lockwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristram Copp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristram Copp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Spinster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Caerleon FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildas Hobson. Davis Lockwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristram Copp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Brice Spinster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davis Lockwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tristram Copp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davis Lockwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th match minute, Caerleon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cadeyrn Sorter to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Caerleon FC's Cairn Elkins got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwawl Knollys in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pwyll Foote saved Port Talbot from getting behind. Tristram Copp made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Davis Lockwood sent off a good shot on target. Tristram Copp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davis Lockwood's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Gwawl Knollys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Caerleon FC. Selwyn Dorsett stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pwyll Foote. 3-0. Cairn Elkins struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pwyll Foote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon FC. In the 95th match minute, Port Talbot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goreu Cameron to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Caerleon FC's Cairn Elkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pwyll Foote made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Pwyll Foote made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwawl Knollys in the 101st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caerleon FC had won after a very even match.
