Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dewey Dell made the kick off which started today's match. Griffith Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alwyn Holway hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conwy Blair to maneuver through the defense. Ceri Jackson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Drych Doran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Ren Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bridgend getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Conwy Blair hit a great ball. Ren Fox struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gwallter Dale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. Bridgend's Griffith Jones got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dewey Dell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Drych Doran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ceri Jackson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 minutes, Alwyn Holway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Bridgend and the Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alwyn Holway kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Ren Fox came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Fox couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bridgend getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dilwyn Gilboy hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ren Fox made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgend's zone, Ceri Jackson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drych Doran came out of the goal and Ceri Jackson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ren Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gwallter Dale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Dewey Dell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drych Doran. Bridgend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dewey Dell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ren Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gwallter Dale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Griffith Jones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwallter Dale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Dewey Dell made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bridgend's Drych Doran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Conwy Blair's late challenge caught a UWA Bridgend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conwy Blair helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Conwy Blair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bridgend's Drych Doran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewey Dell in the 77th minute of play. Drych Doran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewey Dell in the 85th minute of the match. When Ceri Jackson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the UWA Bridgend fans jumped to their feet.
