If Bradwr Catton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Chepstow 's goal looked a bit too open when Sugyn Fitzjohn came free, but Eudav Keller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eudav Keller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Govan Bethel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Sugyn Fitzjohn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chepstow 's Eudav Keller. Eudav Keller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Govan Bethel came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Neath Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Govan Bethel couldn't finish the play. Greidyawl Halton charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greidyawl Halton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Greidyawl Halton hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Sugyn Fitzjohn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Bors Hand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Anwir Breedlove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lovel Bailie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Neath Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Govan Bethel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eudav Keller. Govan Bethel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Eudav Keller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugyn Fitzjohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Chepstow 's Eudav Keller got control of the ball when Govan Bethel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bradwr Catton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lovel Bailie having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Anwir Breedlove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anwir Breedlove was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Chepstow getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Anwir Breedlove hit a great ball. Edern Kempster's late challenge caught a Neath Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edern Kempster helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Chepstow got a freekick which was hit by Edern Kempster. Chepstow 's Myrddin Connell got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eudav Keller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sugyn Fitzjohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Neath Utd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
