In the 7th minute Goreu Eccleston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aeddan Lavender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aeddan Lavender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odgar Deanly in the 8th minute of play. Goreu Eccleston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aeddan Lavender read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Teithi Halliday was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sun By The Sea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Aberystwyth the free kick. After 19 played minutes Sun By The Sea got a freekick which was hit by Teithi Halliday. In the 21st minute Kevyn Foody managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 23rd minute Drystan Barton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odgar Deanly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aeddan Lavender read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Goreu Eccleston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aeddan Lavender was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Goreu Eccleston came free, but Aeddan Lavender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odgar Deanly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aeddan Lavender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Odgar Deanly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aeddan Lavender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Kevyn Foody was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Aberystwyth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sun By The Sea the free kick. If Odgar Deanly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nerth Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. Mabsant Appleton hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Drystan Barton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goreu Eccleston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aeddan Lavender having to interfere. Tadeusz Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amren Evans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sun By The Sea's Jeppe Follestad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UWA Aberystwyth. A collision led to UWA Aberystwyth getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kai Goodman hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Aeddan Lavender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odgar Deanly. Goreu Eccleston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aeddan Lavender having to interfere. Aeddan Lavender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goreu Eccleston, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Mabsant Appleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sun By The Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mabsant Appleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goreu Eccleston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Awstin Hawley got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Jeppe Follestad came free, but Aeddan Lavender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Mabsant Appleton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Aberystwyth's Aeddan Lavender was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Goreu Eccleston reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aeddan Lavender. The goal made the score 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
