With a little luck, Manchester UNİTED's Barris Goodman got control of the ball when Nerth Connolly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cadarn Lamerton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aeddan Lavender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Drystan Barton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Aberystwyth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drystan Barton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Manchester UNİTED got a freekick which was hit by Gwallawg Aris. Barris Goodman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drystan Barton in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Iau Bonds left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester UNİTED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Awstin Hawley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barris Goodman. Manchester UNİTED's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Cadarn Lamerton came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Manchester UNİTED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cadarn Lamerton couldn't finish the play. Aeddan Lavender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iau Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Cadarn Lamerton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester UNİTED's goalkeeper Barris Goodman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes, Brian Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester UNİTED and the UWA Aberystwyth players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Iau Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iau Bonds in the 91st minute of play forced UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Aeddan Lavender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwalchmei Harland kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Manchester UNİTED failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
