When Kai Goodman fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Aberystwyth's protests and gave Kai Goodman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UWA Presteigne booed when UWA Aberystwyth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Goodman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aeddan Lavender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anir Brogan in the 19th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Mawrth Hubert made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Aberystwyth's Aeddan Lavender tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The UWA Presteigne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UWA Presteigne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
