After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Kevyn Foody got a free kick in the 8th minute. Iau Bonds blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aeddan Lavender having to make a save. When Drystan Barton came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the UWA Aberystwyth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drystan Barton couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iau Bonds in the 19th minute of play forced UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Aeddan Lavender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Aeddan Lavender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadarn Lamerton. Cadarn Lamerton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aeddan Lavender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drystan Barton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Barris Goodman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iau Bonds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Iau Bonds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aeddan Lavender was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iau Bonds made a kick off. Aeddan Lavender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iau Bonds in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Drystan Barton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barris Goodman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Barris Goodman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute Cadarn Lamerton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aeddan Lavender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Manchester UNİTED got a freekick which was hit by Brian Jones. Nerth Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barris Goodman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drystan Barton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UWA Aberystwyth's Aeddan Lavender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadarn Lamerton in the 84th minute of play. Meurig Jeeves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Nerth Connolly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Barris Goodman made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Gwalchmei Harland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester UNİTED and the UWA Aberystwyth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gwalchmei Harland hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Drystan Barton in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barris Goodman saved Manchester UNİTED from getting behind. In the 97th play minute Nerth Connolly came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Barris Goodman. 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
