Marrock Cumming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Druce Pattern during the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iolo Joyner got free with Marrock Cumming in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Iolo Joyner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerawdwr Cockwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Garnock Gates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robat Brine hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Berth Brothers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marrock Cumming was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wren Faulkner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garnock Gates came out and tried to block the shot, but Wren Faulkner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wren Faulkner in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garnock Gates saved Portuguese Lions from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Robat Brine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perceval Brothers, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th minute, Amerawdwr Cockwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berth Brothers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Druce Pattern couldn't finish the play. Amerawdwr Cockwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garnock Gates having to interfere. Robat Brine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marrock Cumming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berth Brothers struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Marrock Cumming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portuguese Lions. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barmouth Utd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
