Spectators: 6955 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berth Brothers took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marrock Cumming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berth Brothers in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Barmouth Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druce Pattern to maneuver through the defense. When Iolo Joyner came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Portuguese Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iolo Joyner couldn't finish the play. Amerawdwr Cockwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garnock Gates read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Wren Faulkner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Garnock Gates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barmouth Utd's Amerawdwr Cockwell got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Iolo Joyner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Garnock Gates made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amerawdwr Cockwell in the 27th minute. Amerawdwr Cockwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Garnock Gates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iolo Joyner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Berth Brothers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barmouth Utd's Wren Faulkner got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garnock Gates had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wren Faulkner from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Wren Faulkner came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Barmouth Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wren Faulkner couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Portuguese Lions booed when Barmouth Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudav Howell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barmouth Utd's zone, Morthwyl Scribler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marrock Cumming came out of the goal and Morthwyl Scribler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Powell Bingley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Morthwyl Scribler in the 71st minute really tested Marrock Cumming's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Iolo Joyner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marrock Cumming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Cadman Ritter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barmouth Utd and the Portuguese Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barmouth Utd getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cadman Ritter hit a great ball. When Druce Pattern fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barmouth Utd's protests and gave Druce Pattern a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Barmouth Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druce Pattern to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Iolo Joyner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Wren Faulkner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portuguese Lions's Garnock Gates was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iolo Joyner kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Wren Faulkner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
