Spectators: 8085 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Keith Fishbourne got the match started through his kick off. If Keith Fishbourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Collen Hillier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardiff City F.C and the Bridgend players grew even worse after the yellow card. Collen Hillier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Bridgend's Llyr Hussey got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cardiff City F.C defense, Maelgwn Keane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barri Coneely. The Cardiff City F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barri Coneely should have stopped the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Romney Brinkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardiff City F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romney Brinkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Bridgend's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cedric Gillam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maelgwn Keane hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Anynnawg Scribler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmyg Crittall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Cardiff City F.C got a freekick which was hit by Beven Farr. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Romney Brinkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardiff City F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Romney Brinkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmyg Crittall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Maelgwn Keane got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Romney Brinkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barri Coneely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llyr Hussey in the 43rd minute of the match. Beven Farr hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Llyr Hussey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llyr Hussey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maelgwn Keane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barri Coneely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llyr Hussey, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Bridgend were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romney Brinkman to make the kick off. Barri Coneely made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Glew Brickin sent off a good shot on target. During the 52nd minute of the match Collen Hillier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Collen Hillier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City F.C's Collen Hillier got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes in the game, Maelgwn Keane fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barri Coneely having to interfere. Llyr Hussey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barri Coneely made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Glew Brickin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Llyr Hussey got free with Barri Coneely in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barri Coneely came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bridgend's Llyr Hussey. But to his dismay, Llyr Hussey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Gillam came free, but Edmyg Crittall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Llyr Hussey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Llyr Hussey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barri Coneely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedric Gillam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Edmyg Crittall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romney Brinkman's late challenge caught a Bridgend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romney Brinkman helped the player get up and apologised. Romney Brinkman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Barri Coneely made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Llyr Hussey sent off a good shot on target. Cardiff City F.C's Barri Coneely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casnar Haylow in the 87th minute of play. Llyr Hussey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Barri Coneely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beven Farr fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardiff City F.C's protests and gave Beven Farr a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bridgend booed when Cardiff City F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beven Farr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barri Coneely was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baudwin Bradbury. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bridgend had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
