Spectators: 6860 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romney Brinkman started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Weyland Grace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barri Coneely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Beven Farr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Weyland Grace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Drwst Bissett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UWA Penarth's Weyland Grace got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cedric Gillam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Drwst Bissett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cardiff City F.C's Romney Brinkman got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Peredur Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Penarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Peredur Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barri Coneely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Weyland Grace made the kick off in the second half. Dagonet Cobb's late challenge caught a Cardiff City F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagonet Cobb helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Dagonet Cobb got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Romney Brinkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drwst Bissett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alwyn Andrews charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alwyn Andrews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cardiff City F.C booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alwyn Andrews didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Weyland Grace managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Penarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Weyland Grace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barri Coneely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peredur Epps in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barri Coneely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Arianwyn Lavars got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute Weyland Grace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barri Coneely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romney Brinkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Drwst Bissett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Drwst Bissett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romney Brinkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barri Coneely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peredur Epps in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teregud Jenkins during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, one of Cardiff City F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cardiff City F.C. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City F.C's Beven Farr got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Barri Coneely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weyland Grace, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Drwst Bissett came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardiff City F.C's Cedric Gillam. But to his dismay, Cedric Gillam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Cardiff City F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cardiff City F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
