Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Caddoc Dacre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, UWA Swansea's Renfrew Blakey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lug Benedict narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renfrew Blakey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lug Benedict came out and tried to block the shot, but Renfrew Blakey slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Renfrew Blakey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lug Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Hywel Glazier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lug Benedict was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pwyll Downey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trefor Aykroyd in the 16th minute of the match. Renfrew Blakey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lug Benedict tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anwas Freeh charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anwas Freeh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UWA Swansea getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anwas Freeh hit a great ball. The supporters of UWA Swansea booed when Rhyl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mabsant Attwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hywel Glazier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lug Benedict. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renfrew Blakey in the 34th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Lug Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Renfrew Blakey came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the UWA Swansea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renfrew Blakey couldn't finish the play. Hywel Glazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hywel Glazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lug Benedict tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhyl's Lug Benedict played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renfrew Blakey in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute Renfrew Blakey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lug Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renfrew Blakey made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renfrew Blakey in the 55th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Lug Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trefor Aykroyd kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Renfrew Blakey sped through Rhyl's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lug Benedict. 59 minutes into the game, Hywel Glazier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lug Benedict was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lug Benedict showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwilym Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lug Benedict stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hywel Glazier's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Accalon Lavender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lug Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caddoc Dacre to maneuver through the defense. Lug Benedict took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hywel Glazier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhyl's Lug Benedict played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renfrew Blakey in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Renfrew Blakey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Swansea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renfrew Blakey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hywel Glazier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lug Benedict having to interfere. Lug Benedict was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the UWA Swansea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
