The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cadoc Hicks came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Floreat Salopia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cadoc Hicks couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Floreat Salopia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gusg Coneely hit a great ball. Dewey Lea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ffodor Darwin in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Floreat Salopia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusg Coneely to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Calder Ludden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitaminsizler's supporters rose to their feet, but Calder Ludden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Granwen Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gwythyr Ellen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Granwen Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwythyr Ellen got free with Granwen Day in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitaminsizler's Dewey Lea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beli Chain in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cadoc Hicks to make the kick off. Dewey Lea came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Floreat Salopia's Ffodor Darwin. But to his dismay, Ffodor Darwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Vitaminsizler's Gwythyr Ellen in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floreat Salopia's goalie prevented a goal. Calder Ludden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Ceri Keelan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cadoc Hicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vitaminsizler booed when Floreat Salopia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ffodor Darwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadoc Hicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwythyr Ellen in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Granwen Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calder Ludden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Granwen Day having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floreat Salopia's goalkeeper Granwen Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gwythyr Ellen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Floreat Salopia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Floreat Salopia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
