In the 13th minute of the match Lovel Fitzroy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dewey Lea skillfully saved the ball. Pyrs Leech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwythyr Ellen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neued Fielding in the 21st minute of play forced Vitaminsizler's goalkeeper Dewey Lea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calder Ludden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pyrs Leech having to interfere. Dewey Lea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adwr Hill in the 28th minute. The supporters of UWA Ely booed when Vitaminsizler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wadu Chesterfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. UWA Ely's Neued Fielding got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Adwr Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Gerwin Blencowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Ely and the Vitaminsizler players grew even worse after the yellow card.
