Sinnoch Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Dylan Long had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dewey Cobb. In the 16th minute, Sinnoch Graham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Digon Hagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Digon Eccles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sinnoch Graham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digon Hagen having to interfere. If Sinnoch Graham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Caerleon Utd's Dylan Long got control of the ball when Dewey Cobb tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gwawl Hatch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dewey Cobb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Dylan Long made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Digon Eccles to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gwawl Hatch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Long was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Dylan Long came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Kenfig Hill Crimson's Gwawl Hatch. But to his dismay, Gwawl Hatch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sinnoch Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenfig Hill Crimson's Digon Hagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Digon Eccles in the 62nd minute of play. Vaddon Eye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylan Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewey Cobb in the 75th minute of play. Sinnoch Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digon Eccles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Digon Hagen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Digon Eccles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Digon Hagen to make any attempt to save it. Anwell Hoague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dylan Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dylan Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewey Cobb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewey Cobb in the 96th minute of play forced Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Dylan Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Caerleon Utd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caerleon Utd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
