Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tringad Faherty kicked off to start the match. Colwyn Dorsett in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sinnoch Hutton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aberystwyth Utd's Sinnoch Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Aberystwyth Utd from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Flint's zone, Kynwal Hooley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceri Kevigan came out of the goal and Kynwal Hooley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kynwal Hooley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ceri Kevigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tringad Faherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Flint got a freekick which was hit by Marrock Catton. In the 22nd match minute, Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marrock Catton to maneuver through the defense. If Tringad Faherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Flint's Renfrew Fitzjohn got a free kick in the 25th minute. Renfrew Fitzjohn kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Kynwal Hooley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceri Kevigan having to interfere. Colwyn Dorsett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sinnoch Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sugyn Connaughtan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Sugyn Connaughtan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sinnoch Hutton. Sugyn Connaughtan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sugyn Connaughtan made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Aberystwyth Utd's Kynwal Hooley got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Flint booed when Aberystwyth Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baudwin Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Flint's Renfrew Fitzjohn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sinnoch Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sugyn Connaughtan in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Flint's Sugyn Connaughtan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sinnoch Hutton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Sugyn Connaughtan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinnoch Hutton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 76 played minutes Flint got a freekick which was hit by Marrock Catton. Colwyn Dorsett came free in the 83rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Sinnoch Hutton, but to the joy of Aberystwyth Utd's supporters the ball went over. Sugyn Connaughtan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sugyn Connaughtan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Sinnoch Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flint. Flint walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
