Sinnoch Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewey Cobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dewey Cobb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sinnoch Hutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Kenfig Hill Crimson's Digon Hagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tringad Faherty in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Kenfig Hill Crimson's Gwawl Hatch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sinnoch Hutton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dewey Cobb fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kenfig Hill Crimson's protests and gave Dewey Cobb a yellow card for diving instead. Dewey Cobb kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gwawl Hatch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
