Spectators: 6853 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 0) Ol Cotterell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A hard shot 5 in the game by Cadman Tapley from a close distance when the talented Angawdd Lunshekaun managed to make a qualified save. Rhyl FC's players were relieved. 11 minutes into the match, Rhyl FC's goalkeeper Angawdd Lunshekaun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadman Tapley. In the 12th minute, Hirwaun FC's Ol Cotterell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Ol Cotterell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ol Cotterell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Angawdd Lunshekaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angawdd Lunshekaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ol Cotterell's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Ol Cotterell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bran Love fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rhyl FC's protests and gave Bran Love a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rhyl FC's Bran Love got a free kick in the 31st minute. 36 minutes in the game, Ol Cotterell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angawdd Lunshekaun having to interfere. Angawdd Lunshekaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ol Cotterell's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ceri Deacon's late challenge caught a Hirwaun FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceri Deacon helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rhyl FC! Rhyl FC:s Angawdd Lunshekaun showed great skill when he stopped Caddoc Journeyman:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ol Cotterell in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angawdd Lunshekaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angawdd Lunshekaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ol Cotterell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Llwyd Flannery made a kick off. Angawdd Lunshekaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caerwyn Felix in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedyw Ikin during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Llwyd Flannery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kynon Colville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caerwyn Felix fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hirwaun FC's protests and gave Caerwyn Felix a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Caerwyn Felix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llwyd Flannery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angawdd Lunshekaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ol Cotterell in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadman Tapley in the 66th minute of play forced Rhyl FC's goalkeeper Angawdd Lunshekaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadman Tapley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angawdd Lunshekaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ol Cotterell's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Cadman Tapley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angawdd Lunshekaun having to interfere. Angawdd Lunshekaun came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Hirwaun FC's Ol Cotterell. But to his dismay, Ol Cotterell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Llwyd Flannery kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Ol Cotterell notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rhyl FC's Angawdd Lunshekaun. Angawdd Lunshekaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Hirwaun FC were the better team. Hirwaun FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
