Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ol Cotterell made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, UWA Flint's Tomos Flannery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kynon Colville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gruffen Chapman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadman Tapley in the 8th minute of play. Kilydd Gearan struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kynon Colville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Flint. In the 28th minute, Bleddyn Lovelady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Caddoc Journeyman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gruffen Chapman skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Hirwaun FC booed when UWA Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lleu Buttery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gruffen Chapman came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hirwaun FC's Caddoc Journeyman. But to his dismay, Caddoc Journeyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cadman Tapley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gruffen Chapman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomos Flannery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomos Flannery made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hirwaun FC's Garnock Webster got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Cadman Tapley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hirwaun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadman Tapley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hirwaun FC's zone, Kilydd Gearan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kynon Colville came out of the goal and Kilydd Gearan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kynon Colville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomos Flannery's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Howell Hamm kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomos Flannery in the 66th minute of play forced Hirwaun FC's goalkeeper Kynon Colville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadman Tapley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gruffen Chapman having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Cadman Tapley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cadman Tapleys short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Gruffen Chapman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Kilydd Gearan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomos Flannery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynon Colville having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Kilydd Gearan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kynon Colville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomos Flannery, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 90 minutes of play, UWA Flint's Tomos Flannery made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kynon Colville was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomos Flannery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kynon Colville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Tomos Flannery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Flint fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UWA Flint had won after a very even match.
