After a defensive mix-up in Hirwaun FC's zone, Gruddyeu Dale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kynon Colville came out of the goal and Gruddyeu Dale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hirwaun FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Powell Fielding hit a great ball. Hirwaun FC's Kynon Colville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusg Kellogg in the 8th minute of play. Kynon Colville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malvern Kain in the 10th minute of the match. Kynon Colville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malvern Kain, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kynon Colville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siencyn Joel went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Chepstow FC's Malvern Kain in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hirwaun FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kynon Colville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusg Kellogg in the 23rd minute of the match. Malvern Kain might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kynon Colville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malvern Kain ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Cairn Copeland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kynon Colville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malvern Kain, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Malvern Kain sped through Hirwaun FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kynon Colville. 45 minutes into the game, Howell Hamm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hirwaun FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepstow FC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Howell Hamm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malvern Kain to strike the kick off in the second half. Kynon Colville acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Siencyn Joel. If Malvern Kain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cairn Copeland in the 62nd minute of play forced Hirwaun FC's goalkeeper Kynon Colville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Siencyn Joel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Malvern Kain came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Chepstow FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malvern Kain couldn't finish the play. Cairn Copeland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynon Colville having to interfere. If Malvern Kain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malvern Kain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kynon Colville having to make a save. The corner ended in Gusg Kellogg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hirwaun FC's Kynon Colville did a great save. If Gruddyeu Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malvern Kain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Kynon Colville when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cairn Copeland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kynon Colville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hirwaun FC! Cairn Copeland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynon Colville having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Kynon Colville successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Malvern Kain struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Kynon Colville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chepstow FC. Chepstow FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
