An unexpectedly hard shot by Gandwy Biss in the 8th minute of play forced Rhyl's goalkeeper Maddox Creedan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Llwyd Lindley got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ol Clements to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Amynedd Diarmid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maddox Creedan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Ol Clements tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ithel Biggar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fercos Leaper placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Maddox Creedan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gandwy Biss in the 42nd minute of play. Kynwyl Hoban kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ysgawyn Gilboy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barmouth's Ithel Biggar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysgawyn Gilboy in the 53rd minute of play. If Trefor Cantwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maddox Creedan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amynedd Diarmid in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goalkeeper Maddox Creedan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by March Bennington.
