With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cerwyn Jordan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Granwen Fischer in the 16th minute of play forced Montgomery's goalkeeper Cerwyn Jordan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Lavaine Gannon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maddox Creedan, 1-2. Cerwyn Jordan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Granwen Fischer in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorsedd Eckles in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maddox Creedan saved Rhyl from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Granwen Fischer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Cerwyn Jordan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Granwen Fischer made a precise shot to the right of Cerwyn Jordan. Montgomery's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 46th minute, Trefor Cantwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gorsedd Eckles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Montgomery's Lavaine Gannon made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maddox Creedan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cerwyn Jordan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ol Clements in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Ol Clements shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cerwyn Jordan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montgomery's Cerwyn Jordan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ol Clements in the 64th minute of play. Maddox Creedan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Montgomery's Bradwr Lavery shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 72nd minute, Ysgawyn Gilboy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cerwyn Jordan. The goal made the score 3-6. Cerwyn Jordan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Granwen Fischer in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Montgomery's goalkeeper Cerwyn Jordan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Granwen Fischer. The Montgomery fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rhyl were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
