In the 14th minute Galahad Carver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyddno Creagh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iestyn Keeler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwyddno Creagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceithin Baldwin in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iestyn Keeler in the 22nd minute of play forced Chepstow's goalkeeper Gwyddno Creagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chepstow's Gwyddno Creagh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iestyn Keeler in the 29th minute of play. Clyde Isham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gruddyeu Garrett made a huge save. Gwyddno Creagh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galahad Carver, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Chepstow's goal looked a bit too open when Ceithin Baldwin came free, but Gwyddno Creagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iestyn Keeler in the 47th minute of play forced Chepstow's goalkeeper Gwyddno Creagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keith Yeoman made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Morvran Coyne during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chepstow booed when Prestatyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Prestatyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 77 minutes into the match, Iestyn Keeler notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chepstow's Gwyddno Creagh. Gwyddno Creagh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceithin Baldwin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
