The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avagdu Foster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. In the 15th minute, Gorsedd Eckles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorsedd Eckles in the 17th minute of play forced UWA Beaumaris's goalkeeper Gwythyr Joiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerwyn Jordan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caledvwich Blencowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, UWA Beaumaris's goal looked a bit too open when Gorsedd Eckles came free, but Gwythyr Joiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradwr Lavery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yestin Birdwell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Montgomery getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bradwr Lavery hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yestin Birdwell made a kick off. Bradwr Lavery might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gwythyr Joiner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradwr Lavery ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Gorsedd Eckles in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 55th minute, Gorsedd Eckles made a precise shot to the right of Gwythyr Joiner. UWA Beaumaris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 62nd minute Gorsedd Eckles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwythyr Joiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorsedd Eckles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwythyr Joiner having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Montgomery's goal looked a bit too open when Caledvwich Blencowe came free, but Cerwyn Jordan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, UWA Beaumaris's goal looked a bit too open when Bradwr Lavery came free, but Gwythyr Joiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
