Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wadu Faircloth kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Lampeter booed when Rhyl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedyw Casey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Trefor Cantwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhyl's supporters rose to their feet, but Trefor Cantwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyneira Blake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Trefor Cantwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gwyneira Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trefor Cantwell in the 12th minute of play. Gwyneira Blake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ol Clements's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Rhyl's Maddox Creedan got control of the ball when Wadu Faircloth tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Trefor Cantwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Llwyd Lindley kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Lampeter's Dalldav Finnegan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maddox Creedan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lampeter reached it. After 23 minutes, Llwyd Lindley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhyl and the Lampeter players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 minutes Rhyl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tringad Edgell who took care of the corner kick. Gwyneira Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Granwen Fischer in the 38th minute of the match. Granwen Fischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyneira Blake having to interfere. Goreu Gade hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Maddox Creedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goreu Gade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goreu Gade in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maddox Creedan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th play minute Granwen Fischer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gwyneira Blake. 2-1. Rhyl's Maddox Creedan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tringad Edgell in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Rhyl getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fercos Leaper hit a great ball. Rhyl made a substitution. Ysgawyn Gilboy replaced Ol Clements. Fercos Leaper kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Granwen Fischer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Granwen Fischer got free with Gwyneira Blake in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maddox Creedan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goreu Gade, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goal looked a bit too open when Ysgawyn Gilboy came free, but Gwyneira Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwyneira Blake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trefor Cantwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 73 played minutes Lampeter got a freekick which was hit by Brice Jones. Rhyl's Trefor Cantwell got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Granwen Keary lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 76th minute, one of Lampeter:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lampeter. Lampeter:s Gwyneira Blake showed great skill when he stopped Fercos Leaper:s penalty. In the 81st match minute, Lampeter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Jones to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Granwen Fischer. After 98 minutes, Teilo Rush mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhyl and the Lampeter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
