Clust Farthing kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Talgarth's zone, Kenyon Blyth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhys Wharfinger came out of the goal and Kenyon Blyth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Caerleon's goal looked a bit too open when Andras Leek came free, but Gwres Keatinge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caerleon were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Talgarth's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenyon Blyth took the corner. Caerleon's Gwres Keatinge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Caerleon from getting a goal against them. Cadellin Finlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwres Keatinge having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Caerleon's goal looked a bit too open when Andras Leek came free, but Gwres Keatinge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Kenyon Blyth made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gwres Keatinge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kynon Lax in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clust Farthing in the 36th minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Syvwlch Cordwainer came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Caerleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syvwlch Cordwainer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Caerleon getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Penvro Clark hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Andras Leek sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Gwres Keatinge threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Andras Leek this time. 47 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Clust Farthing came free, but Rhys Wharfinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Clust Farthing made the kick off in the second half. Gwres Keatinge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadellin Finlay in the 59th minute of play. Syvwlch Cordwainer kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rhys Wharfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenyon Blyth in the 61st minute of the match. Kenyon Blyth charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenyon Blyth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Caerleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenyon Blyth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Reese Wainwright. Clust Farthing struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rhys Wharfinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon. Clust Farthing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Rhys Wharfinger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes into the game, Reese Wainwright was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talgarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caerleon the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Talgarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reese Wainwright to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clust Farthing. In the 94th minute Kynon Lax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwres Keatinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caerleon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
