Drew Doney started the match with the kick off. Cai Brahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandwy Hawker having to interfere. Cadeyrn Donald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dillan Flower read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Cadwgawn Kinealy's late challenge caught a CPD Unedig Caerdydd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cadwgawn Kinealy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Cadwgawn Kinealy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CPD Unedig Caerdydd were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Caerleon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ren Flanders took the corner. CPD Unedig Caerdydd's Ren Flanders was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gandwy Hawker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15thth minute of the game Rhodri Hibberd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caerleon FC's Gandwy Hawker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maddox Burys short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Gandwy Hawker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rhodri Hibberd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maddox Bury succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Dillan Flower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Doney in the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cadeyrn Donald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caerleon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadeyrn Donald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dillan Flower breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28thth minute of the game Meurig Bourns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caerleon FC's Gandwy Hawker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, CPD Unedig Caerdydd's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Doney came free, but Dillan Flower reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colwyn Brinkman's late challenge caught a Caerleon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colwyn Brinkman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, CPD Unedig Caerdydd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colwyn Brinkman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhodri Hibberd in the 34th minute of play forced Caerleon FC's goalkeeper Gandwy Hawker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maddox Bury who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Gandwy Hawker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of CPD Unedig Caerdydd booed when Caerleon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinadan Slater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gandwy Hawker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhodri Hibberd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Maddox Bury ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gandwy Hawker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Caerleon FC defense, Rhodri Hibberd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gandwy Hawker. The Caerleon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gandwy Hawker should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Dinadan Slater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maddox Bury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhodri Hibberd in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gandwy Hawker saved Caerleon FC from getting behind. Dillan Flower came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Caerleon FC's Cadeyrn Donald. But to his dismay, Cadeyrn Donald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 88th minute Maddox Bury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandwy Hawker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CPD Unedig Caerdydd's Rhodri Hibberd got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CPD Unedig Caerdydd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
