Denbigh's Hydd Dancer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cervantez in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Syvwlch Lloyd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hydd Dancer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Syvwlch Lloyd came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cambrian Mountains fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syvwlch Lloyd couldn't finish the play. Trefor John struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Wilton Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denbigh. Hydd Dancer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syvwlch Lloyd in the 19th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Anwell Davee put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cambrian Mountains fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Cambrian Mountains:s Wilton Dracena showed great skill when he stopped Trefor John:s penalty. Lavaine Kimball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hydd Dancer having to interfere. Syvwlch Lloyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hydd Dancer having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Syvwlch Lloyd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambrian Mountains fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denbigh's goalkeeper Hydd Dancer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Brathach Farthing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilton Dracena. Cambrian Mountains's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brathach Farthing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Syvwlch Lloyd made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Denbigh's zone, Syvwlch Lloyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hydd Dancer came out of the goal and Syvwlch Lloyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Cervantez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hydd Dancer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Denbigh got a freekick which was hit by Sel Frisby. After having played for 59 minutes, Syvwlch Lloyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambrian Mountains's supporters crossed their fingers, but Syvwlch Lloyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cambrian Mountains's Maelwys Griffith got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hydd Dancer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syvwlch Lloyd in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Denbigh getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kynon Foltz hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denbigh! Roland Cervantez might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hydd Dancer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Cervantez ran back to his position shaking his head. If Syvwlch Lloyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lavaine Kimball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denbigh's goalkeeper Hydd Dancer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Denbigh's goal looked a bit too open when Lavaine Kimball came free, but Hydd Dancer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Syvwlch Lloyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Denbigh booed when Cambrian Mountains was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Cervantez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cambrian Mountains's Lavaine Kimball got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the match, Rhun Gillock notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Denbigh's Hydd Dancer. Hydd Dancer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cambrian Mountains's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
