Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rob McGillegowie took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob McGillegowie in the 5th minute of play forced AC Glasgow Football's goalkeeper Frank Alderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Dunlop kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. AC Glasgow Football's Frank Alderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob McGillegowie in the 15th minute of play. Calum Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Alderson having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Leven's Rob McGillegowie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Alderson. Frank Alderson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Frank Alderson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob McGillegowie in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Calum Buckley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Simson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ronnie McKinnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Aidan Cargill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AC Glasgow Football's Frank Alderson got control of the ball when Calum Buckley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronnie McKinnon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Simson went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 minutes of play, Leven's Marc Forstar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Alderson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of AC Glasgow Football booed when Leven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Forstar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Oliver Simson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Glasgow Football fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Leven's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christopher McKee 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. After 74 played minutes AC Glasgow Football got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy McPhorich. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob McGillegowie in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Alderson saved AC Glasgow Football from getting behind. If Calum Buckley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AC Glasgow Football's Jeremy McPhorich got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, AC Glasgow Football's goal looked a bit too open when Calum Buckley came free, but Frank Alderson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob McGillegowie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Alderson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Calum Buckley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rob McGillegowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Alderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum Buckley, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Rob McGillegowie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Alderson having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Calum Buckley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Alderson. AC Glasgow Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calum Buckley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Leven walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
