In the 13th minute, Stuart Bell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oliver Simson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the AC Glasgow Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Simson couldn't finish the play. Jacob Suttie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Alderson having to interfere. Jacob Suttie struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Frank Alderson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunoon. Oliver Simson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Dunlop hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Frank Alderson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murray McCansh's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Frank Alderson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murray McCansh in the 39th minute of the match. If Jacob Suttie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Suttie in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Alderson saved AC Glasgow Football from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Charles Boyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher McKee, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jacob Suttie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murray McCansh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AC Glasgow Football getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. James Dunlop hit a great ball. When Murray McCansh, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frank Alderson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jacob Suttie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Dunoon getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Stuart Bell hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Dunoon's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Simson came free, but Charles Boyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Simson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Boyd having to make a save.
