Benjamín Siña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hamish McLulich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Drummore's Benjamín Siña slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamish McLulich. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Hamish McLulich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Corstorphine in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George McWhirter in the 21st minute of play forced The Alfordigans FC's goalkeeper Hamish McLulich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Drummore's Benjamín Siña ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hamish McLulich. Hamish McLulich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 26th minute, Fergus Cassels made a precise shot to the right of Ben Laidlaw. Drummore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy McMorran in the 29th minute of play forced Drummore's goalkeeper Ben Laidlaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Benjamín Siña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Alfordigans FC's Hamish McLulich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Troy McIssac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish McLulich having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Alfordigans FC's Malcolm McImmey got a free kick in the 35th minute. A hard shot 37 in the game by Benjamín Siña from a close distance when the talented Hamish McLulich managed to make a qualified save. The Alfordigans FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamín Siña in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamish McLulich saved The Alfordigans FC from getting behind. Drummore's Ben Laidlaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith McNaughton in the 45th minute of play. Ben Laidlaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy McMorran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamín Siña was the one to do the kick off. Hamish McLulich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy McIssac, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Benjamín Siña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hamish McLulich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Alfordigans FC! The referee gave Drummore a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shane Gillespie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Alfordigans FC's Hamish McLulich. 3-1. The Drummore fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Drummore's Benjamín Siña looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hamish McLulich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamín Siña's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Troy McIssac charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy McIssac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Troy McIssac hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Hamish McLulich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamín Siña's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Alfordigans FC's zone, Troy McIssac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamish McLulich came out of the goal and Troy McIssac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Drummore getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Richard McQuartie hit a great ball. Drummore's Ben Laidlaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith McNaughton in the 81st minute of play. Hamish McLulich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drummore. Ben Laidlaw was a little too slow when Andy McMorran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-2. The Alfordigans FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
