Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamín Siña started the match with the kick off. Drummore's Ben Laidlaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Forstar in the 5th minute of play. Benjamín Siña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ronnie McKinnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamín Siña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Ronnie McKinnon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Greg McPhater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Leven booed when Drummore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy McIssac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Laidlaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob McGillegowie, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Timothy Gowan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Drummore booed when Leven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Philipson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie McKinnon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shane Gillespie. Benjamín Siña's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ronnie McKinnon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Drummore's Ben Laidlaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Gowan in the 27th minute of play. Benjamín Siña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ronnie McKinnon made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Rob McGillegowie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Laidlaw. Drummore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rob McGillegowie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Leven's Ron McWhannell got a free kick in the 35th minute. Shane Gillespie's shot from long distance in the 36th minute was not bad at all, but Leven's Ronnie McKinnon knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. George McWhirter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie McKinnon having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Leven got a freekick which was hit by Marc Forstar. The Drummore players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leven were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob McGillegowie was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamín Siña in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie McKinnon saved Leven from getting behind. In the 56th minute Benjamín Siña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie McKinnon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Ron McWhannell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamín Siña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamín Siña in the 65th minute of play forced Leven's goalkeeper Ronnie McKinnon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Richard McQuartie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drummore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leven the free kick. A collision led to Drummore getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Richard McQuartie hit a great ball. Benjamín Siña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie McKinnon having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Drummore lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
