With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keith McNaughton in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie McKinnon saved Leven from getting behind. If Calum Buckley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fergus Cassels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ronnie McKinnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keith McNaughton struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ronnie McKinnon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Alfordigans FC. Rob McGillegowie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alfordigans FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Rob McGillegowie scored to the left of an out of position Hamish McLulich, making the score, 2-0.

Leven's Rob McGillegowie got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of The Alfordigans FC booed when Leven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Forstar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fergus Cassels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronnie McKinnon having to make a save. Fergus Cassels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ronnie McKinnon made a huge save. Hamish McLulich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum Buckley, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Rob McGillegowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Alfordigans FC's goalkeeper Hamish McLulich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Rob McGillegowie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamish McLulich was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Fergus Cassels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rob McGillegowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Aldridge kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Leven's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryan Philipson in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Leven were the better team. Leven's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
