Rod Carter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ronnie Conlon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugh McAy in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Coull saved Ebola United from getting behind. Guy Lauchlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Conlon having to interfere. Ebola United's Rod Carter got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rod Carter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ronnie Conlon 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rod Carter in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie Conlon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Terence Weaver hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
