With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robin Malcolmson in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davie Boon saved Dundee United SCO from getting behind. Robin Malcolmson might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davie Boon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Malcolmson ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Dundee United SCO's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Malcolmson came free, but Davie Boon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Robin Malcolmson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davie Boon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davie Boon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Malcolmson in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Dundee United SCO got a freekick which was hit by Amador Perpinya. Davie Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Malcolmson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Robin Malcolmson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davie Boon, 1-0. Davie Boon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robin Malcolmson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Davie Boon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Malcolmson in the 32nd minute of the match. Davie Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Malcolmson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Munro Ashmore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munro Ashmore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Robin Malcolmson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Davie Boon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's Graeme McHutcheon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Perpinya in the 46th minute of play. Munro Ashmore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davie Boon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Amador Perpinya made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Munro Ashmore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davie Boon was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's Graeme McHutcheon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Bruse in the 60th minute of play. Davie Boon came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's Munro Ashmore. But to his dismay, Munro Ashmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's Munro Ashmore in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dundee United SCO's goalie prevented a goal. Davie Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Malcolmson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dundee United SCO's Davie Boon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munro Ashmore in the 68th minute of play. Robin Malcolmson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Davie Boon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BLUE SCORPIONS AFC. Munro Ashmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davie Boon having to interfere. When Robin Malcolmson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the BLUE SCORPIONS AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Malcolmson couldn't finish the play. If Munro Ashmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Munro Ashmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Perpinya kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Robin Malcolmson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Davie Boon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BLUE SCORPIONS AFC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BLUE SCORPIONS AFC had played much better football throughout.
