Graeme McHutcheon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Shaun Wright kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Mark McCruithein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryan Forrister skillfully saved the ball. Munro Ashmores short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Ryan Forrister to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Graeme McHutcheon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Greusach, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Ricky McCaishe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Borussia Coldside's Grant McRuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graeme McHutcheon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's protests and gave Robin Malcolmson a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Malcolmson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jordan McFater hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, Keith Keene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BLUE SCORPIONS AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Coldside the free kick. Borussia Coldside's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Borussia Coldside could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BLUE SCORPIONS AFC throughout the match.
