Johannes Bruse charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Bruse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johannes Bruse kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Henry McHutcheon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Davie Boon. The goal made the score 1-0. Ter McQuisten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Davie Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davie Boon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Amador Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee United SCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dundee United SCO booed when Johnstone SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris McOnie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dundee United SCO's Johannes Bruse got a free kick in the 28th minute. Henry McHutcheon struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Davie Boon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Johnstone SFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry McHutcheon in the 32nd minute of play forced Dundee United SCO's goalkeeper Davie Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Walter Rorison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dundee United SCO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Johnstone SFC the free kick. Walter Rorison hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ter McQuisten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davie Boon having to interfere. When Amador Perpinya fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The wind increased when Amador Perpinya made the kick off in the second half. Ter McQuisten scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davie Boon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute Henry McHutcheon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davie Boon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter McQuisten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davie Boon having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Dundee United SCO's Johannes Bruse in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Davie Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry McHutcheon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Johnstone SFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ter McQuisten hit a great ball. Henry McHutcheon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Johnstone SFC got a freekick which was hit by Chris McOnie. During the 69th minute of the match Chris McOnie completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chris McOnie a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Chris McOnie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ter McQuisten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnstone SFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry McHutcheon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davie Boon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davie Boon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry McHutcheon went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ter McQuisten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnstone SFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
