Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patrick Brodie made the kick off which started today's match. The celtic fc fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when celtic fc's Shane Broom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Josh Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shane Broom in the 7th minute of play. Shane Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Josh Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th play minute Elliot Yuille came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josh Fyfe. 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Thurso AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of celtic fc:s goal. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, celtic fc's Eddie Roy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Josh Fyfe. When Kenny Appleby fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thurso AFC's protests and gave Kenny Appleby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Kenny Appleby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Roy, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 37th minute, Elliot Kerracher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Yuille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute of the match, Elliot Yuille got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josh Fyfe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 50th minute Shane Broom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josh Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shane Broom to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Patrick Brodie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thurso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Brodie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Ogilvie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Appleby kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Eddie Roy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josh Fyfe skillfully saved the ball. Josh Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Yuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shane Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Josh Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Yuille fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Fyfe having to interfere. Josh Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Broom in the 82nd minute of the match. Shane Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Josh Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Elliot Yuille left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The celtic fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shane Broom in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josh Fyfe saved Thurso AFC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the celtic fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
